We worked with the project and finance team to obtain all relevant information including
contractors final account, professional fees, breakdowns of all direct purchases and fixed asset
ledgers. We surveyed the projects during the construction phase and at practical completion to get a
feel for the project to ascertain the BWIC relating to qualifying plant and machinery before
producing our report.

The works undertaken comprised stripping out the existing fit out and preparing for upgraded CAT A
installations and new CAT B works, including new partitions, floor, wall and ceiling finishes, new
fixed and loose furniture, and new mechanical, electrical, ventilation, sprinkler, warehouse heating
and data cabling.

By maximizing the allowances through being involved at the outset, Wandsworth identified £8.5m of
allowances in total.
